Robo & Bobo

DEAR – Design Around Onlus is a non-profit association that fosters the humanization of hospital environments. Five robots for five laboratories: Preent, which introduces children to 3D modeling and printing; Joybit, dedicated to electronics; Codix, which makes block programming accessible on tablets; Cir-cut, on electricity and circuits; Eye-Oh!, dedicated to virtual reality;

The lenses of the cameras and video cameras have a privileged role: not only do they observe, but they can crystallize in an emotion the beauty of a moment, protectors and witnesses of what happens and that is often difficult to tell in words. Sometimes they can be frightening, but the ability of those behind you manages to convey the importance of their role. The Photographer and the Video Maker, hidden behind their lenses, are the most important testimonies and refractors of the work. Thanks to them, the moment becomes image and story. They not only testify, but take that world outside the hospital, creating an important emotional connection rich in information through a language without filters, to talk about the beauty and fragility of the hospital, also made of smiles, joy, play and creation.
